CPUT registration deadlines

First-year college students:

Registration will be available online and off-campus beginning January 31 and will run through February 6, 2024.
Students who completed their grade 12 exams in 2024 (or earlier) and received final approval may register to begin classes in February 2024 and continue until February 2024.
Candidates who passed their Grade 12 final exams in 2024 and are waiting for word: The NSC results for 2024 will be subjected to a final review (screening) from Thursday, January, to Friday, February 2024. (Potential Changes) Any NSC results obtained will be compared to official Department of Basic Education and Training results.
To confirm your acceptance, an automated SMS will be sent to the mobile phone number you provided when submitting your university application.
Regularly check the website http://www.cput.ac.za/study/track to see if you’ve been accepted. When a change is made to this website, the status is updated to provide users with the most up-to-date information.

Remember, you have 48 hours after receiving the automated SMS to register. If you do not, your position will be taken. If you do not, your spot may be given to a more deserving student.

returning students (Returning Undergraduate Studies including Advanced Diploma, Postgraduate Diploma programs)

The deadlines for faculty registration are subject to change (refer to the registration booklet for detailed timelines)
Registration for classes without financial assistance will be available online and off-campus beginning in January 2024.
Between January 17 and February 4, 2024, students can register for academic programs both on and off campus with online assistance.
