Damelin Online application requirements 2024-2025
Damelin admission requirements differ based on your nationality, academic level, and the type of course you are applying for. This is primarily due to the fact that universities are permitted to establish entry requirements based on internal policies or personal preferences. They determine the entry requirements for each course to ensure that you possess the necessary knowledge and abilities to successfully complete it.
General Admission Requirements
- The Damelin General Admission/Application Requirements are as follows: In order to finish the application, you will need an email address.
Applicants from South Africa will need an identification number. Foreign applicants will require the numbers of their passports.
You will be required to pay the application fee once Damelin has provided you with your student number.
Ensure that your documents are scanned in accordance with the instructions.
The specific admission requirements for your chosen qualification must be met before you can be admitted to Damelin.
If you don’t meet these requirements, you might want to think about other qualifications or, if you qualify, an extended program with limited module registration in your first year.
Damelin may no longer accept students who have completed 12th grade at the ACE (Accelerated Christian Education) School of Tomorrow.
There are only a few spots available for some Damelin qualifications. Even if you meet a qualification’s general and/or specific admission requirements, this does not guarantee that you will be admitted for the 2024 academic year.

- Determine whether you will be able to apply for a lower-level qualification related to your interests by going over the admission requirements for each level of qualification (such as a degree, diploma, and higher certificate). Keep in mind your career vision and objectives, as well as the ways in which any qualification will contribute to these.
DEGREE QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Business Management (HEQSF Aligned)
- A National Senior Certificate (NSC) with an endorsement for a degree, a National Certificate Vocational (NCV) at NQF Level 4 with an endorsement for a degree, a Senior Certificate (SC), an Amended Senior Certificate (ASC), an equivalent international school-leaving certificate or foreign secondary qualification on an NSC level, or an Age Exemption (23 or older):
Proof of English proficiency and a Senior Certificate or its equivalent, as well as at least five years of post-secondary education in the field desired by the student. Mature applicants over 45 years old without a high school diploma may be eligible for a conditional exemption. Foreign students whose first language is not English may be required to provide proof of proficiency in English prior to admission to the program.
Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting (HEQSF Aligned)
- A National Senior Certificate (NSC) with an endorsement for a degree, a National Certificate Vocational (NCV) at NQF Level 4 with an endorsement for a degree, a Senior Certificate (SC), an Amended Senior Certificate (ASC), an equivalent international school-leaving certificate or foreign secondary qualification on an NSC level, or an Age Exemption (23 or older):
No less than five years post-Optional School insight in the field in which the understudy needs to review and
Evidence of English language capability and
Senior Declaration or same
Mature age candidates, 45 years and more established without a school leaving capability, may apply for contingent exclusion
Math or Numerical Education and English at NQF level 4 or same
Unfamiliar Understudies whose first language isn’t English, might be expected to give evidence of capability in English preceding admission to the program
Bachelor of Commerce in Information Management (HEQSF Aligned)
- A National Senior Certificate (NSC) with an endorsement for a degree, a National Certificate Vocational (NCV) at NQF Level 4 with an endorsement for a degree, a Senior Certificate (SC), an Amended Senior Certificate (ASC), an equivalent international school-leaving certificate or foreign secondary qualification on an NSC level, or an Age Exemption (23 or older):
Proof of English proficiency and a Senior Certificate or its equivalent, as well as at least five years of post-secondary education in the field desired by the student. Mature applicants over 45 years old without a high school diploma may be eligible for a conditional exemption. Foreign students whose first language is not English may be required to provide proof of proficiency in English prior to admission to the program.
Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management (HEQSF Aligned)
- A Public Senior Declaration (NSC) with Degree support, or
A Public Testament Professional (NCV) at NQF Level 4 with Degree underwriting, or
A Senior Declaration (SC), or Revised Senior Endorsement (ASC), or
A comparable worldwide school-leaving endorsement/unfamiliar auxiliary capability on a NSC level, or
Age Exception (23 years or more established):
No less than five years post-optional school insight in the field in which the understudy needs to review and
Evidence of English language capability and
Senior Authentication or same
Mature age candidates, 45 years and more seasoned without a school leaving capability, may apply for restrictive exclusion
Science or Numerical Proficiency and English at NQF level 4 or same
Unfamiliar Understudies whose first language isn’t English, might be expected to give verification of capability in English preceding admission to the program
Bachelor of Applied Social Sciences (HEQSF Aligned)
- A National Senior Certificate (NSC) with an endorsement for a degree, a National Certificate Vocational (NCV) at NQF Level 4 with an endorsement for a degree, a Senior Certificate (SC), an Amended Senior Certificate (ASC), an equivalent international school-leaving certificate or foreign secondary qualification on an NSC level, or an Age Exemption (23 or older):
Proof of English proficiency and a Senior Certificate or its equivalent, as well as at least five years of post-secondary education in the field desired by the student. Mature applicants over 45 years old without a high school diploma may be eligible for a conditional exemption. Foreign students whose first language is not English may be required to provide proof of proficiency in English prior to admission to the program.
DIPLOMA QUALIFICATIONS
- Age Exemption (23 or older): A National Senior Certificate (NSC) with Diploma endorsement, a National Certificate Vocational (NCV) at NQF Level 4 with Diploma endorsement, a Senior Certificate (SC), an Amended Senior Certificate (ASC), or an equivalent international school-leaving certificate or foreign secondary qualification on an NSC level
A Senior Certificate or equivalent, proof of English proficiency, and at least five years of post-secondary work experience in the field desired by the student are required. Only mature applicants over 45 years old who do not have a high school diploma are eligible for the conditional exemption.
