This page provides applicants with information regarding the DUT online application dates of 2024 and 2025.

  • Students who are interested in pursuing programs at the diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels at the Durban University of Technology (DUT) can now apply online. There are specific dates and deadlines for admission registration and portal closure. As there are only a few spots available for admission to DUT, it is best to apply early because late entry is not allowed.
The time frame for submitting an application for admission into any course of interest is always the application deadline, also known as the closing date. Between August and October of each year, universities and colleges in South Africa set a submission deadline.
Therefore, applicants must meet the university’s minimum admission requirements and admission point score before submitting an application.

Fees for Applications

  • The International School’s website can be found at http://www.dut.ac.za, and it contains information about the program’s dates as well as its total cost. For each course, tour, and game park visit, the fee includes lodging, instruction, materials, and travel arrangements. The students are responsible for covering all other costs. A US $150 deposit (by February 22 for early applications or April 25 for late applications) is required to reserve a spot after admission.

Payment Method

Fees ought to be paid by nations other than South Africa in the following ways:

  • Number of Account: 050007068 in the Durban Main Branch of Standard Bank; Code for Branch: 040026; SWIFT Number: SBZAZAJJ; Reference: G997 301374 (and the student’s name).
Please scan or email the payment proof to international@dut.ac.za with your name and address and a note stating that the payment is for the International School.

You must pass certain high school subjects with a certain level of success to take a particular university module. Please refer to the faculty-specific admission requirements section for the required subjects and achievement levels for each program.

Please keep in mind

Then, by June 4, 2014, you must arrange to pay the remaining fees.
Please scan and send proof of payment to international@dut.ac.za by email.
