The DUT Online application fee for applicants in 2024 and 2025 is discussed in this post.

Fees for applying to and enrolling at Durban University of Technology (DUT): 2024/2025. The authority of the institution has released the amount due as application and registration fees for the upcoming academic session for undergraduate, postgraduate, certificate, professional, and diploma programs.

A late application fee: must be paid by applicants who submit their application after October 31.

Minimum 2024 First Registration Installment

The First Payment (Non-Residence Students)

The following is required as the first payment on the day of registration:

1.3.1 Annual students only pay tuition: R 4 400.00 1.3.2 Semester students pay only tuition: R 2 700.00 (Please keep in mind that this fee only applies to students who only need to register for one semester, typically those who only need to finish a qualification in one semester.) The Annual First Installment (R4 400.00) is due at the beginning of the year by students who enroll in a program that offers modules in both Semester 1 and Semester 2 simultaneously.

The First Payment (Residence Students)

The following is required as the first payment on the day of registration:

1.3.3 Students’ Annual Tuition and Living Costs: 1.3.4 Semester Students – Tuition and Living Expenses: R 8 970.00 R 5 500.00 (Please keep in mind that this fee only applies to students who only need to register for one semester, typically those who only need to finish a qualification in one semester.) The Annual First Installment (R8 970.00) is due at the beginning of the year by students who enroll in a program that offers modules in both Semester 1 and Semester 2 simultaneously.
NB: The annual first payment will be due from single-registration students, who register for both the first and second semesters at the beginning of the year.
