How to Apply to Johannesburg University

If you want to apply to the University of Johannesburg, you will need the following documents:

If you are currently in 12th grade or have credentials from other countries: A valid South African passport, birth certificate, or other form of identification is required for the final high school results (Final Grade 11 results).
Documents issued in any language other than English (documents certified in English) If English was not the primary language of instruction or learning, provide evidence of your English proficiency (the university prefers applicants with IELTS scores of 6 overall and TOEFL scores ranging from 80 to 104 for undergraduate programs).
You can instead take the English Language Program Test (UJELP) at the University of Johannesburg.

If an applicant wishes to be exempt from University modules or courses, they must submit an academic transcript covering their entire time spent attending a university within or outside the Republic of South Africa.
