How to Apply VUT online 2024-2025

This page teaches you how to apply online for VUT in 2024 and 2025.

One of South Africa’s largest residential technology universities, the Vaal University of Technology (also known as VUT) offers 300 English-primarily taught programs to approximately 22,000 students. On campus and in its facilities, learning, research, recreation and sports, art and culture, and community service are all encouraged. There are four campuses at this school: The campuses of Vanderbijlpark, Ekurhuleni, Secunda, and Upington are all included.

Dates for submitting applications:

From July 1, 2023, to November 30, 2024, the Vaal University of Technology online application for 2024 will be available. Consequently, we urge prospective students to submit their applications for the 2024 academic year via the application form (Hard-Copy) as soon as possible.

Before You Apply

It is necessary to possess an endorsement from the NSC or NCV allowing entry into degree programs (a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification).
You are eligible to apply to the program you want to enroll in because you meet all of the requirements. Meeting the minimum admission requirements does not guarantee admission because each program only has a few spots available.
You are proficient in either English or Afrikaans, the two UFS languages of instruction, at a minimum level of 4 (50 percent).
You must earn a minimum grade in a set of school subjects to enroll in a specific university module. Please refer to the faculty-specific admission requirements section for a list of the necessary achievement levels and mandatory subjects for each program.
