Established in 1985, Auckland Park Theological Seminary (ATS) 1950) is a public benefit organization (PBO) that focuses on theological education, community development, and theological training.

As an official training institution accredited by the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA), ATS is a non-denominational organization that works across church boundaries.

Through the provision of certificates, diplomas, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees, ATS is preparing leaders from tertiary entry-level teaching to the highest academic qualifications. Additionally, ATS has a contract with the North-West University.

Auckland Park Theological Seminary Application Requirements

You need: in order to enter the NVC at NQF Level 2:

  • An approved bridging program designed specifically for the purpose of accessing NQF Level 2, a year-end report for grades 9, 10, 11, or 12, or a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment to meet the fundamental requirements for accessing NQF Level 2.

Full-Time Rated Courses

All new applications must include the following:

  • A certified copy of the most recent school report, statement of results, or certificate for grades 12 or N3.
    Six certified copies of the Learner’s identification.
    Two official copies of the parent or guardian’s ID.
