How to register DUT Online 2024-2025

The most prestigious higher education institution in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) is the Durban University of Technology (DUT). It is in the lovely towns of Pietermaritzburg and Durban (PMB). As a University of Technology, it places a high value on the quality of its teaching and learning by ensuring that its faculty members hold the highest possible credentials.

Dates of application opening and closing: 2024-2025

From July 1 to November 30, 2023, the Durban University of Technology Online Application will be available. Consequently, we urge prospective students to submit their applications for the 2024 academic year via the application form (Hard-Copy) as soon as possible.

Payment Method
Fees should be paid from countries other than South Africa by:

Account Number: 050007068 at STANDARD BANK, Durban Main Branch; Branch Code: 040026; SWIFT Code: SBZAZAJJ; Reference: G997 301374 (and name of student).
Please scan or email the payment proof to international@dut.ac.za with your name and address and a note stating that the payment is for the International School.

Prerequisite for applying to Durban University of Technology

You can study for a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification because you have an endorsement on an NSC or NCV.
You are eligible to enroll in the program if you meet all of the minimum admission requirements. Because each program has a limited number of spaces available, meeting the minimum admission requirements for your chosen or intended program of study does not guarantee admission.
You have a minimum level of four (or fifty percent) in the UFS language of your choice: Afrikaans or English (only applicable to specific programs).
You must pass certain high school subjects with a certain level of success to take a particular university module. Please refer to the faculty-specific admission requirements section for the required subjects and achievement levels for each program.

The application must be submitted using the application forms, which can be downloaded from the website or obtained from the International School Office: www.dut.ac.za), and a non-refundable application fee must accompany each application. The early-bird application deadline is February 22; The April 25 late deadline applies.

Acceptance notifications will be sent no later than May 30.

If you have provided your email address, you will undoubtedly receive news much sooner.
Then, by June 4, 2014, you must arrange to pay the remaining fees.
Please scan and send proof of payment to international@dut.ac.za by email.
Visa: US citizens must apply for a travel visa before entering South Africa.
