How to register UP Online 2023-2024

You will learn how to register for UP Online 2023-2024 on this page.

Please keep in mind that your registration must be restarted at the beginning of each module until you have fulfilled all qualification requirements. You will not be able to access your online resources or get in touch with your instructors or supervisor if you do not renew your registration at the beginning of each module.

Contact Information

A contract must be concluded between the applicant and the University of Pretoria before the applicant can enroll. Students can access the contract online through her UP Portal and Student Center on the Student Portal. Students must complete a contract online, send it in, print it out, and sign it. The completed and signed agreement must be uploaded as soon as possible under ‘Upload Supporting Documents’ in the Student Portal on the UP Portal.

The Up Online Launch Dates

The start date specifies the first day of your first module.
Two weeks before the start date, applications are due.
The registration period runs from four weeks before the session to one day before the module session.
Access to Blackboard/clickUP is revoked if payment is not received by the payment deadline, which is five days after the module’s start date.
Registration: Before the registration deadline, you must register for each module.

UP Online registration application guidelines:

Please sign in to the UP Student Portal, select the UP Student Centre link, and then look for holds in the student center’s right column. Students will not be able to register online if there are any holds.

Since first-year students may not be familiar with their curriculum, they should only enroll in core modules. Elective courses can be added after attending the orientation program and receiving advice on the curriculum.

First-year students can always register for their modules in the order they are listed on the registration page with fixed curricula. Current students must complete their registration online by January 4. Please be aware that these students’ registration is not scheduled in advance.
