Dates of application opening and closing 2024-2025

• From July 1, 2023, to November 30, 2024, the Vaal University of Technology Online Application for 2024 is open. Consequently, we urge prospective students to submit their applications for the 2024 academic year via online application (Hard-Copy) as soon as possible.

Before You Apply

• You must possess an equivalent qualification or an NSC or NCV with an endorsement allowing entry to degree studies (Bachelor’s degree).
  You meet the minimum requirements for admission to the program you want to study. Because each program has a limited number of seats, meeting the minimum admission requirements does not guarantee admission.
  You have a minimum level of four (or fifty percent) in the UFS language of instruction you choose: Afrikaans or English (only applicable to specific programs).
  You must pass certain high school courses with a certain level of success to take a particular university module.
  Please refer to the faculty-specific admission requirements section for program-specific mandatory subjects and achievement requirements.

Documents Required for Application

• An active email address and a mobile phone number are required for South African applicants. Passport numbers will be required from foreign applicants.
  a copy of your academic credentials, such as a Senior Certificate. If you are a new applicant, please continue with your application. Certified copies of your identity/passport, Senior Certificate/National Senior Certificate, Proof of Payment for Administration Fee, and all other relevant documents are required in addition to a non-refundable application fee of R100.00.   In the Reference column, please enter your Identity (ID) Number. Please refrain from making any additional payments with this account number.

How to Apply for VUT Online 2024-2025

All admissions applications must be submitted online during the application period.

• Log in at https://ienabler.vut.ac.za/pls/prodi03/w99pkg.mi login to access the VUT Online Application Portal.
  Make payments, apply, register, update personal information, and obtain academic and other information.
  Go to the “Prospective Students” section and click the “New Application” link if you want to Apply, Register, Change Personal Information, Get Academic and Other Information, Make Payments, or Register.
  Do you have a student number already? Select “Yes” or “No.”
  If you want to return to finish the application, choose Yes or No.
  Decide whether or not to accept the terms and conditions after reading them.
  Complete the necessary biographical and other information fields.
  If you are a new applicant, please proceed with your application.
