IMM Graduate School Online application requirements 2024-2025

The IMM Graduate School of Marketing’s admission requirements vary based on the course type, academic level, and nationality of the applicant. This is primarily due to the fact that universities are permitted to establish entry requirements based on internal policies or personal preferences. They determine the entry requirements for each course to ensure that you possess the necessary knowledge and abilities to successfully complete it.

IMM Graduate School of Marketing application requirements 2024-2025

Higher Certificate in Marketing & Export Management

Admission criteria for prospective students who matriculated prior to and including 2007:

  • Senior Authentication (Grade 12) or same.
    Prospective students over the age of 23 who do not hold a Senior Certificate are required to submit a CV and RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) application. In addition, prospective students must submit a SAPS affidavit stating that they did not hold a Senior Certificate. *

Admission criteria for prospective students who matriculated and exited the school system as of 2008:

  • National Senior Certificate (NSC), National Certificate Vocational (NCV), or an equivalent qualification, with an achievement rating of at least 3 (40-49 percent) in English as one’s native language or 4 (50-59 percent) in English as one’s primary language.
    For the student to be admitted to a higher certificate program at a higher education institution, they must have satisfied the minimum requirements.
    Prospective students over the age of 23 who do not hold an NSC are required to submit a CV and RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) application. These documents must include work-related experience as well as a SAPS affidavit stating that the applicant did not hold an NSC.

BBA in Marketing Management

BCom Marketing and Management Science

Admission criteria for prospective students who matriculated prior to and including 2007:

  • A Senior Certificate (Grade 12) with exemption from the university and a mark of at least 40% on the higher grade or 50% on the standard grade in mathematics are required.
    an NQF certificate at level 5.
    Prospective students over the age of 23 who lack a Senior Certificate but have written and passed at least four higher grade or four standard grade subjects at the matric level are required to submit a CV and RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) application. Work-related experience and a SAPS affidavit stating that they did not obtain a Senior Certificate must be included on the CV. Include a certified copy of the subjects passed.
    As mature age applicants, students over the age of 45 are eligible to apply.

Admission criteria for prospective students who matriculated and exited the school system as of 2008:

  • A National Senior Certificate (NSC) or National Certificate Vocational (NCV) with a minimum achievement rating of 3 (40-49 percent) in English as the home language or 4 (50-59 percent) in English as the first additional language, as well as a minimum achievement rating of 3 (40-49 percent) in Mathematics or 5 (60-69 percent) in Mathematical Literacy.

  • a recognized, appropriate, and three-year NQF level 7 qualification
    a minimum of three years of relevant experience in marketing or a related field. If the applicant has less than three years of work experience, they may be required to complete an access module called Marketing 1.
    A motivational letter and CV are required.

For admission to the Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Management, applicants must complete the Postgraduate Application form and return it, along with certified copies of educational certificates, identity or passport documents, a letter of motivation, and a CV, via registered mail to:

BPhil Honours in Marketing Management

  • A suitable Bachelor’s Degree on NQF 7 with Marketing 3 as a major module.
  • Any other equivalent qualification.
  • A CV and a motivational letter are required.
