Applications Close:

The MBChB application deadline is June 31. ( The results of the NBT must be available by July 31.
The deadline for early applications—excluding MBChB—is August 5.
The deadline for late applications—except for MBChB—is September 30.
The deadline for international student applications—excluding MBChB—is September 30.
Applications for student housing must be submitted by September 30.

Procedure for Applying to NMU

You can apply via one of the following channels:

Undergraduate, advanced diploma, and postgraduate (PG Diploma, PG Certificate, Honours, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree) applications can be submitted online.
Additionally, postgraduate candidates must complete the Postgraduate form (U24). Please refer to the General Information and Admission Requirements for Postgraduate Programs for additional information regarding postgraduate programs.
Before submitting your application (only for international students), confirm that you have paid the Application Fee.
Your application form must be accompanied by the following documents:
a certified copy of your matriculation certificate or results, as well as certified copies of diploma/degree certificates and academic records for postgraduate applications, a certified copy of your ID/Passport, a certified copy of your paternal grandfather’s identity document, and a certified copy of your paternal grandfather’s identity document. You will receive an acknowledgment letter or the outcome of your admission within 10 working days during the months of April and June. If you have already passed Grade 12, a certified copy of your matric The turnaround time will be 14 to 20 business days prior to the aforementioned closing dates.
Because we no longer test applicants for admission, unless otherwise indicated, you will need to consider another qualification if your Subject-Specific Marks and Applicant Score (AS) do not meet the entry requirements for your chosen program.
