Following the consolidation of four universities in the northern rural regions of the more notable Cape Town Metropole, Wingfield Technical College (three grounds: Wingfield, Goodwood, and Table Bay), Tygerberg College (Tygerberg and Parow), Protea College, and Bellville Technical College were merged into Northlink School in 2002.
In 2005, Northlink acquired the private institution Belhar College.
The words “north” and “connect,” which refer to the organization’s geographic location, were combined to create the name (which portrays the underlying connecting of the previous universities).
More significantly, it establishes the critical connection between education and the world of work.

The 2024–2025 academic year at Northlink Tvet College will have an online application period that runs from July 1 through September 25.

HOW TO APPLY AT NORTHLINK TVET COLLEGE

Follow these steps to submit an online application to Northlink College for the 2024 academic year:

There are also part-time study options. You can download the Part-Time Brochure if you want to study part-time.
After choosing a course, review the class costs and the Payment Policy.
Finish filling out the application and uploading a certified copy of your ID and most recent test results.
Before checking on the status of your application after submitting it, please give the application enough time to be reviewed and sent to the appropriate program manager.

Waiting for a Response

After submitting your application form, please give it enough time to be reviewed, sent to the correct program manager, and updated before checking on the status of your application.
Your application will receive an email and text message of acknowledgment.

CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILITY

The applicant is required to pay an application fee.
An active email address is required of the applicant (note: applicants who do not have an active email account will not be accepted).
A valid photo ID and the age of majority (18) are requirements for all applicants.
It is necessary to submit pertinent documentation, such as a certified copy of the test results or a certificate.
Check and consider the unique requirements of the faculty before you apply for a Passport ID for foreigners and a study permit.
