• Beginning in April of the 2024–2025 academic year, anyone who satisfies the requirements can begin making online applications for admission to Rhodes University (RU). All prospective students interested in attending Rhodes University (RU) are encouraged to submit an online application prior to the 2024 class application deadline. Prospective students can submit an application to the university through our online application system.

Entry requirements

• Your application will only be considered for admission to the university if you meet both the faculty requirements and the eligibility requirements for a Bachelor’s degree. For a Bachelor’s pass, students must successfully complete seven courses, four of which are required (two languages, Life Orientation, and either Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy) and three of which they can select from the school’s available options.
  You must earn the following grades to graduate from Rhodes University:
  proficiency in the English language with a score of 4 or higher (50–59 percent).
  At least four of the seven subjects listed below must be chosen from the list of recommended subjects.
  Additionally, students must have at least a 4 achievement rating. 50-59 percent).

Online enrollment for Rhodes

• Visit https://ross.ru.ac.za to create an account for the system using your email address and a password.
• After that, you will receive an email with a link to activate your account.
  Click the link to activate your registration.
  Therefore, when you return to ROSS, you must select the Admission/Other buttons (clicking the appropriate button is critical here). After that, you can log in with the username and password you created in step 1.
  Click the button to confirm your acceptance of the terms and conditions after completing your application.
  The R100 application fee must be paid after your application is submitted. There are a lot of options on the system.
  Send us an email with your application number in the subject line if you paid for your application fee with a deposit slip from your bank.
  Your application will be processed after you have completed the aforementioned steps, and you will then be given a student number and a login.
