SATS online application dates 2024-2025

The admission portal for South African Theological Seminary has opened for applicants who are interested in running a diploma, undergraduate, or postgraduate program there. Both the closing of the admission portal and specific registration dates and deadlines have been established. Due to the limited number of available admission slots at the South African Theological Seminary, it is best to submit your application as soon as possible. Late applications will not be accepted.

For admission into any course of interest, the institution sets the application submission deadline, also known as the closing date. The submission deadlines for universities and colleges in South Africa typically fall between August and October of each year.

Before submitting an application, it is therefore expected that applicants will satisfy the minimum admission requirements and admission point score of the university.

The deadline for South African Theological Seminary 2024 applications is November 21, 2021. As a result, we encourage undergraduate and graduate applicants to use either online or paper-based application forms. Applications received after this date will not be considered; to ensure that your application is considered, please submit your application during the application cycle before the deadline.)

South African Theological Seminary will consider late applications only if the programs you want to study have openings.

Each program at the South African Theological Seminary only admits a select few students. Therefore, in order for the school to accept and process your application, we would recommend that you submit it during the application cycle.

Documents needed to apply South African Theological Seminary

Before submitting your online application, read the following important information:

When you fill out the online application, certified copies of all of your documents are required. This means that a Commissioner of Oaths must stamp each required document with his signature to verify that it is a true copy of the original. The online form requires only these certified copies to be uploaded. You could approach your pastor, if he or she is a Commissioner of Oaths, or you could go to your neighborhood police station. If you live in a country where this is not the norm, please have your pastor verify that the document you send is a genuine copy of the original.
Seven days from the date the application is received, enrollments are processed.

An enrollment fee (see pricing) is required of all undergraduate program participants. You can pay for this online or by making a direct deposit into the SATS bank account.
IMPORTANT: If you are outside of South Africa, please try to pay with a credit card if at all possible. Any other method will cost you a lot, and you will be responsible for them; for example, each time you make a foreign payment through a bank, it costs R235.
