Requirements for Admission

* Regular admission requires a minimum GPA of 3.0.
* Academic probation requires a minimum GPA of 2.7.
International students must take the TOEFL iBT.
A score of 90 is required.

SPU Online Application

The new online application system allows prospective students to apply to study at Sol Plaatje University without having to pay an application fee.
Students who want to apply online must have access to the internet and an active email address.
The university will not accept paper applications, so applicants must submit their applications online.
The booklet titled “Guidelines on how to apply online” should be downloaded and read by prospective students prior to submitting their applications. Here, you can find this information as well as a link to the online application.
