• A public Technical and Vocational Education and Training college, Tshwane South TVET College (TSC) is registered under the Continuous Education Training Act (CET Act No.16 of 2006).
  Atteridgeville, Centurion, and Pretoria West’s three former Technical Colleges were combined to form TSC in 2001. (Notice 7311, Gazette No 240 of December 2001).
  The provincial borders were rezoned in 2006, and TSC acquired its fourth campus (Odi Campus) from Orbit TVET College as a result. According to this act and any other applicable acts, national or provincial laws, the College Council performs all duties required to operate a Public FET College, including the creation of a College Statute.
• The Council is required to: Create a strategic plan for the College with input from all of its subcommittees and important stakeholders that includes the College’s mission, vision, goals, and financial planning.
  Discuss historical injustices, gender, and disability issues, as well as safety procedures for students, lecturers, and support staff.
  The Council is in charge of running the College.
