Dates of Application Opening and Closing
- From July 1, 2023, to November 30, 2024, the Tshwane University of Technology online registration for 2024 is open. Consequently, the college encourages prospective students to apply online via the application form (Hard-Copy) as soon as possible for the 2024 academic year.
TUT Application Fee for 2024
- The TUT online application for 2024 requires a R240 application fee that cannot be refunded. It needs to be sent along with your application. If your application is rejected, this fee covers the administrative costs of processing the forms. It is non-refundable.
TUT application requirements
- The minimum requirements for general admission to TUT are minimal. Without meeting the requirements listed below, no one can enroll as a student in a TUT program.
TUT’s general admission requirements
- a passing grade on the Senior Certificate in English (or a minimum of another language; There may be first or home language status requirements for some programs.) Each course has its own admission requirements.
It’s important for potential students to be aware that admission requirements for particular programs can change from year to year.
Students in some programs will be required to take an admissions test to find out if they will be accepted or if they should enroll in a relevant foundation course.

Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy?
For NSC-G purposes, all students must take one of the two subjects.

- Programs that require previous knowledge of mathematics can benefit from mathematics; It’s possible that all others only demand mathematical literacy. The DoE curriculum statements, which can be found on the DoE website, provide details about what each subject entails.)
Submitting of Results and Documents
- It is imperative that you submit your most recent set of results. The inability to do so may create setbacks for your application cycle. Certified copies of the originals are required for all attached documents.

Choose whether you will return to complete an application or not. If this is your first time applying, you will not have a student number yet.
Decide whether you meet the Qualification requirements. Token Specific: To show specific students a pre-defined list of qualifications, this token was only given to them. To the consent form, click “I Accept.”
