Tshwane University of Technology in Brief (TUT)

In 2004, three technology schools merged to form Tshwane University of Technology (TUT). By giving all of our student’s access to all of our communities and a place to call home, the university merger aims to correct historical injustices.
By expanding access to higher education to address our triple issues of poverty, inequality, and unemployment, higher education institutions provide an intellectual home for all of our citizens, particularly those living on the margins of society in both rural and urban areas.
