The administration of Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) has made the student registration portal available for both new and returning students to use in order to register for semester courses at the diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels. The closure of the registration portal and specific registration dates and deadlines have been established. To avoid losing your TUT studentship, it is best to register early because late registration is not allowed.

For online applications, applicants must pay a non-refundable application fee of R 120.00. Please make a deposit using the bank information listed below and upload the deposit slip along with the other documents you need.

Priorities to bear in mind

You must have an email address in order to finish the application.
Applicants from South Africa will require an identification number. Passport numbers will be required from foreign applicants.
A non-refundable application fee of R80 must be paid by each applicant.
Along with the other required documents, you must upload your deposit slip.

Results and documentation submission

It is imperative that you submit your most recent set of results. Inability to do so may create setbacks for your application cycle. Certified copies of the originals are required for all attached documents.

Click “Apply Now” in the upper right corner of the screen.
Choose whether you will return to complete an application or not. If this is your first time applying, you will not have a student number yet.
Select whether you have a Qualification Specific Token—this token was only given to specific students to display a pre-defined list of qualifications—and then click “I Accept” on the consent form.
Follow all of the application’s instructions exactly.

Dates for TUT registration

For newly approved students, online subject registration will begin on January 21, 2023, and will end on February 25, 2023.
Online registration for senior students will open on February 10, 2023, and close on February 25, 2023.
