Eligibility Requirements for Undergraduate Program Admission at UCT

• For admission to the higher certificate, diploma, or degree programs, prospective students must meet the National Senior Certificate (NSC) endorsement requirements.
  A mature age exemption may be available to prospective students who do not meet the minimum requirements for admission to UCT but are at least 23 years old and possess a Grade 12 (school-leaving) certificate. If you fall into this category, you should talk to the appropriate faculty office about the possibility of a conditional exemption. The Faculties of Health Sciences and Law do not consider mature-age applicants for their programs.
  For matriculation exemption, prospective students must have met the requirements with secondary school certificates from countries other than South Africa.
