UFS online registration dates 2024-2025

On this page, you can learn more about the UFS online registration dates for 2024-2025. We also want to remind parents and guardians that they will be able to enroll their children in classes using the same online registration procedure beginning in the fall of 2025. Dates to remember for online registration

• Senior student registration will be available online beginning in January 2024. (Only for the Faculty of Health Sciences)
  From January to February 2024, senior students can register and receive academic advice online.
• Beginning of honors students’ lectures in January 2024 (except if communicated differently)
• Online first-year student registration will be available from January to February 2024. (Faculty of Health Sciences only)
• In February 2024, first-year students will be able to register online and receive academic advice.
• Classes begin in February 2024.

How to Register for Admissions to the University of Free State (UFS) in 2024 and 2025 Online

• Check that you have a valid email address.
• Check that you have all of the necessary documentation (qualifications)
• Online registration is available at www.ufs.ac.za.

PLEASE SIGN UP IMMEDIATELY. The early bird catches the worm.

Returning to campus in 2024 and the necessary vaccinations:

• To enter the campus beginning February 14, 2024, all staff, enrolled students, and visitors who have not received the SARS vaccine must upload a weekly negative SARS (COVID-19) PCR test here or present a written exemption from the Vaccination Exemption Committee. If you have been immunized and your vaccination certificate has been entered into the UFS system, you will be able to enter the campus using a permanent QR code and your staff or student campus access card.
• On https://www.ufs.ac.za/return-to-campus, you can find detailed information about the campus’s return in 2024, the operationalization and implementation of the COVID-19 Regulations and Required Vaccination Policy, and the new campus gate screening procedure.
