It’s that time of year again! For students who want to make the most of their academic year, UFS online registration is now available. We’ve made some changes this year, so be sure to check the website for the most up-to-date information.

UFH Registration Application Deadlines

  • Applications for any University Access Program (UAP) offered on the South Campus and its surrounding areas are due on September 1.
  • 31 May Biokinetics, Physiotherapy, Optometry, and Occupational Therapy are all fields of study.
  • Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Construction Managers, and Nurses were all laid off on July 31.
  • International undergraduate applications must be submitted by August 31.
  • September 30th Transfer students from other universities, all non-selection programs, forensic sciences, music, social work, and community development
  • The Fine Arts November 1–November 30: All University Access Programs on the South Campus and in the Neighborhood

How to Sign Up for UFS

  • STEP 1: Accept your admission offer by going to https://www.ufs.ac.za/studyoffer.
  • STEP 2: Log in to Oracle PeopleSoft using your student ID and password.
  • STEP 3: Launch PeopleSoft and navigate to the Tasks tile on the Student Homepage to select the task. A task called “Registration 2024” will be available under the “Tasks” tile.
    To complete the task in step four, the various tasks listed on the left side of the Student Task WorkCentre page must be completed. You can log out and back in later to complete the various tasks until the job is completed using the system.
  • STEP 5: Check that all of the modules (courses) for which you want to register are listed on your proof of registration. You will receive an email the day after you register with a link to the Proof of Registration, which is also available on the Student Centre page.

The three campuses in the province that comprise the nearly 115-year-old University of the Free State are Bloemfontein, Qwaqwa, and South Campus.

Thousands of students enroll at UFS to study in one of the 114 departments.
