UKZN online application dates 2024-2025

Between 2024 and 2025, UKZN will accept online applications. UKZN is the country’s most recent university or college to announce admission dates for the upcoming academic year. This page contains information about the 2024-2025 UKZN online application dates.

Application Deadlines for UKZN

• MBCHB’s 30th of June
• All other programs end on September 30th.

FEES FOR APPLICATIONS FOR UKZN

• R240 (SA citizen)
• R300 (International student)
• Late application fees of R465 (for South African residents) and R575 (for non-South African residents) (Late application fee for international students)

REQUIREMENTS FOR UKZN

Please remember to include the following documents (where applicable):

• A certified copy of your ID or passport.
• It is necessary to provide a certified copy of your National Senior/Matric Certificate, O/A Levels, or other relevant school leaving qualification/certificate.
• If you are an international applicant, you must provide proof that you are eligible for degree studies at South African universities from South African universities (formerly known as HESA). Additional information can be found in the undergraduate prospectus.
• Certified copies of your degree certificate(s), academic record, and certificate of conduct are required if you attended other colleges.
• International applicants from non-English speaking countries must provide proof of English proficiency.
• The South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) assesses previous degrees from foreign universities (outside South Africa).
• You must submit a research proposal/proposed title for your dissertation/thesis if you are applying for a master’s or Ph.D.
• To study in South Africa as an international student, you must have a valid study visa.
• Before applying online, please ensure that you have read the requirements listed above.
• Before submitting your application, please ensure that you have all of the required HESA/SAQA documents.
• Please use the reference APPN when paying the application fee (followed by your student number).
• Please allow the system between 24 and 48 hours to process your payment.
