Online applications are required for Stellenbosch University’s undergraduate and graduate programs via the application page.
The dates for Stellenbosch University’s online registration in 2024 and 2025 are listed below.

Registration for all residences and programs begins in March.
At Stellenbosch University, the application period for financial aid begins in April.
The registration deadline for all undergraduate programs and residence halls is June.
Applications for financial aid must be submitted to Stellenbosch University by August 31.

In 2024, applications for admission open in May and close in August.

The applicant is required to be at least 18 years old.
Your formal education is going well for you.
Grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale (GPAs below 3.0 will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will require additional documents outlined in a section below). Before applying, candidates must have completed at least three semesters of school (sophomores in their first semester may apply). Some local university courses may not be open to sophomores.
