University of the Western Cape Postgraduate 2024-2025

The University of the Western Cape (UWC) is happy to give postgraduate degrees this academic year. These highly esteemed postgraduate programs are made to further push your skills and knowledge and give you the opportunity to explore new fields of study. What is graduate school?

An individual who has completed a higher education level after completing their undergraduate studies is referred to as a postgraduate.

APPLICANTS CAN VIEW ALL OF THE PROGRAMS AVAILABLE

Students applying for postgraduate programs are reminded to complete the online application and submit all required paperwork by September 2024. (August 2024 for School of Government postgraduate degrees). Students applying who do not submit the required paperwork will be seen as having an incomplete application and will not be taken into consideration during the selection process. Please be aware that incomplete applications will not be accepted and the university will not be held accountable.

Dates for UWC Admissions Opening and Closing

The University of the Western Cape opens its doors on May 1 and closes on September 30.

Important Information for Applicants

The applicant needs to be aware that there are NO application fees.
By the deadlines, all applications must be submitted electronically with all required supporting documents uploaded. Applications won’t be deemed finished until all necessary paperwork is turned in. Please take note that documents cannot be submitted by email.
Because there is fierce competition for spots, candidates are advised to submit applications to multiple tertiary institutions.
