University of Venda Online application requirements 2024-2025

The University of Venda’s online application requirements for 2024 and 2025 are discussed on this page.
To successfully finish an online application, you need the following information.
  • The online application wizard is only for undergraduate students from South Africa.
  • You must have a credit or debit card with a CV number, an email address, a cell phone number, and a South African identification number to apply online.
  • You can save and return to the online application method at any time during the process.
  • A five-digit pin will be generated for the applicant.
  • Upload a scan of your passport or identification card, a copy of your Grade 11 report or statement of results for your 12th grade, or your Matric Certificate.

Student admission

  • (a) No one is allowed to enroll in a module for a degree, diploma, or certificate unless they have fulfilled all of the school’s requirements.
    (b) A student must satisfy the following admission requirements in accordance with the Act, the Statute, and these regulations:
    Along with their application, students must include a testimonial of good behavior that the Council approves.
    (ii) If the Council requires it, students applying for admission must take an admissions exam.
    (iii) A student may be required to provide adequate proof of good standing before enrolling in a particular program.
    iv) Unless the Registrar grants the student an extension of time, he or she must present a matriculation or exemption certificate referred to in the Act, or any other certificate serving as a requirement for admission to a specific module, to the Registrar before May 15 of the year in which they are registered as students for the first time.
    (v) A person must present a copy of their identity document to the Registrar when registering as a student for the first time at the University.
    vi) Once enrolled, a student is bound by all campus and off-campus rules and regulations.
    (vii) When an understudy’s application for confirmation as an understudy is endorsed, the individual is enrolled.
    (viii) The University Council must approve any student-arranged housing arrangements for the entire academic year.
    (ix) A person may only attend lectures with the Registrar’s permission before registering as a student.

With a CVV number printed on the back of a credit or debit card, prospective students will be able to pay online. There will be no acceptance of cards without a CVV code.
