University of Pretoria Student Accommodation

The TuksRes Family, otherwise called the Division of Home Undertakings and Convenience, is a different business association that offers types of assistance to home understudies through an assortment of supervisory groups.
The University of Pretoria is proud to be South Africa’s largest residential university, home to 10,000 students.
It is possible to address the diverse requirements of our student population who live in residences using a comprehensive framework like TuksRes.

About Us

The executive decision to merge all residence-related operations into a single business entity was made in October 2004 by the University of Pretoria Council. The Department of Residence Affairs and Accommodation (TuksRes) was established as a result to break down the numerous university silos.

Please consider the following campuses when choosing a place to live.

Please be aware of the following:

Students should prefer to live on the campus where they will study; Education students, for instance, can live on the Groenkloof Campus.
On the Hatfield Campus, there are only dormitories for postgraduates.
