The new prospective students who are applying to UP for the first time should use the online application system. It is not intended for University of Pretoria students currently enrolled.

To use the online application system, applicants must have the following items:

After submitting your online application, a student ID (EMPLID) will be sent to a valid email address as confirmation of receipt.

You can apply at any time and enroll six times per year thanks to the distinctive program structure at UPOnline.
Make a request for information.
Whenever you have presented an underlying request and the UPOnline Call Center has discovered that you are a qualified understudy, you will hear from the College. You can quickly and easily access the University of Pretoria’s online study application system by clicking on a link in this message. A one-time, unique token for your online study application is provided by this URL. Duplicate this connection and glue it into your program’s location bar. You can access the University of Pretoria’s online application page by entering the URL.
For each program for which you wish to apply, you are only required to submit one online application.
Keep in mind that each of the four steps needs to be completed precisely for the application to launch properly.
You will be given an EMPLIID (student identification number) after your online application has been processed.
Acceptance to the University of Pretoria is not implied by the receipt of an EMPLIID student number. Your application moves on to the admissions process after being evaluated by the relevant faculty.
If you complete your own online application, it is preferable. In order for the University of Pretoria to get in touch with you directly, you must provide them with your postal and email addresses.

You will not be able to submit your application online until you have completed the following steps.

completed the online application for studies.
All the backup papers were uploaded in PDF format.
the application cost was paid.
clicked “APPLY” after confirming the application.
Your form has not been sent if you have not hit “APPLY.”

When your application has been submitted successfully:

You won’t be able to change your application anymore.
You will receive your assigned student number (EMPLID) via email.
On the student portal, you can find important instructions on how to check your application and development results.
