UWC online registration dates 2024-2025

The dates for the University of the Western Cape’s online registration are now available! Now is the time to register if you want to begin or continue your undergraduate studies at the University of the Western Cape.

How to Register for UWC Online

Before beginning your academic year at UWC, you must complete your university registration. You can register online by going to your UWC Student Portal at https://student.uwc.ac.za.
Step 1 To log in, enter your student number as well as your passport or STEP1 ID number.
Enter your student number, South African ID number, or passport number on the screen for the online student portal. When finished, click the “Submit” button.
Step 2 START – Please double-check the registration information.

A summary of the program you are enrolling in will be displayed. The UWC Contact Centre must be notified if any information needs to be changed or if any errors show up at the bottom of the page.
Click the “Start” button to choose your module combinations after all information has been verified and declared accurate. You can add all unsuccessful and required modules to your registration using the “Auto select” feature.
