Varsity College online application dates 2024-2025

Candidates who are interested in running a program at IIE Varsity College at the diploma, undergraduate, or postgraduate levels can now apply for admission. Both the closing of the admission portal and specific registration dates and deadlines have been established. Because there are only a few spots available for admission to IIE Varsity College, it is best to apply early because late applications will not be accepted.

For admission into any course of interest, the institution sets the application submission deadline, also known as the closing date. The submission deadlines for universities and colleges in South Africa typically fall between August and October of each year.

Dates for the 2024 and 2025 IIE Varsity College Online Application

The Varsity College Online Application is open from July 1 through November 30. As a result, Varsity College encourages prospective students to apply early for the 2024 academic year by submitting an online application (Hard-Copy).

Before applying to Varsity College, you must meet the following requirements:

an NSC or NCV endorsement granting admission to bachelor’s degree programs or an equivalent qualification.
You have met all of the minimum requirements for admission to the program you want to study. Because each program only has a limited number of spots available, meeting the minimum admission requirements does not guarantee admission.
You are proficient in the chosen UFS language of instruction at a minimum of level 4 (or 50%): Afrikaans or English (only applicable to specific programs).
To take a certain university module, you must pass certain school subjects with a minimum level of success. Please read the section on faculty-specific admission requirements, which also lists the required achievement levels and compulsory subjects for each pro.

Required documents to apply for Varsity College include

a certified copy of your ID or passport.
Certified Grade 11 exam results from the end of the year or your National Senior, Matric, or IEB Certificate (if you have already finished 12th grade).
If you attended another university, certified copies of your academic record(s) and degree certificate(s).
Copy of your marriage certificate that has been certified (if applicable).

How to Apply for Online Varsity College

The Varsity College offers a single online application portal for both new and returning students. Proof of payment of the R200.00 non-refundable application fee is required.

For applicants to postgraduate programs, there are two distinct applications.
Hardcopy applicants must pay R120 for the application.
Late applications for postgraduates will be accepted until December 31 with an R250 application fee.
Your application must contain a certified copy of your requirements. This incorporates your store slip.
