For admission in 2024, applications open on May 1 and close on August 31.

Application Fees for the Varsity College:

For a timely application fee, citizens of South Africa must pay a non-refundable R220 fee. The fee for international applicants is R275. Keep in mind that you must pay this fee by October 31 for your application to be considered. For international applicants and R440 for South African applicants, late application fees will apply.

International and transfer students are eligible to apply. Applicants can submit their applications online or download the application form from the CAO website.
Please click Identity Document on the Central Applications Office – CAO website at www.cao.ac.za. A diploma or degree certificate (if available) An academic record with conduct in relation to studies at another tertiary institution Proof of payment of the non-refundable application fee matriculated results/certificates

Foreign students must in addition provide:

– Valid passport and study permit
– SAQA verification certificate
– Proof of financial means (bank statements, bursaries, cash available/travelers cheque to the bank details below;

Apply online

Use your email address to sign up for the online system at https://www.varsitycollege.co.za/ and create a password. You will then receive an email with a link to activate your account.
To activate your registration, click the link.
You will then be returned to ROSS, where you must click the Admission/Other buttons (it is critical that you click the correct button here). You will then be permitted to enter your first-step login and password.
After completing your application, you must click the button to accept the terms and submit it.
The R100 application fee must be paid after the application has been submitted. The system provides numerous options.
You must email us the deposit slip and use your application number as a reference when paying the bank for your application fee.
After you have finished the above steps, we will process your application and give you a student number and login information.
