Throughout the application process, all applicants are expected to provide documentation. Read on to learn more about the necessary VUT documents.
Before You Apply
- It is necessary to possess an endorsement from the NSC or NCV allowing entry into degree programs (a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification).
You are eligible to apply to the program you want to enroll in because you meet all of the requirements. Meeting the minimum admission requirements does not guarantee admission because each program only has a few spots available.
You are proficient in either English or Afrikaans, the two UFS languages of instruction, at a minimum level of 4 (50 percent).
You must earn a minimum grade in a set of school subjects to enroll in a specific university module. Please refer to the faculty-specific admission requirements section for a list of the necessary achievement levels and mandatory subjects for each program.
Applicants’ Required Documents
- a working mobile number and a valid email address South African applicants will need an identification number. The numbers of foreign candidates’ passports will be required.
a copy of your school transcript, such as your senior certificate. If you are submitting your application for the first time, please proceed. A R100 non-refundable administration fee, certified copies of your identity or passport, a senior certificate or national senior certificate, proof of payment for the administration fee, and all other required documentation must accompany this application. Pre-payment of the administrative fee is possible at ABSA BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER: Branch Code: 530861945 632005.

How to Apply Online for VUT in 2024–2025
All admissions applications must be submitted online during the application period.
- To access the VUT Online Application Portal, log in to https://ienabler.vut.ac.za/pls/prodi03/w99pkg.mi.
Get academic and other information, register, update personal information, and make payments.
If you want to apply, register, change your personal information, get academic and other information, and pay, click the New Application link under “Prospective Students.”
Pick Yes or No to the inquiry “Do you as of now have an understudy number?”
If you intend to return to finish the application, select either Yes or No.
Consider whether to accept the relevant terms and conditions after reading them.
Next, fill in the other fields and necessary biographical information.
Please continue with your application if you are a new applicant. All required documentation, a non-refundable R100 administration fee, certified copies of your identity documents (such as your passport or driver’s license), your senior certificate or national senior certificate, and proof of payment for the administration fee must accompany this application. Number of ABSA Bank account: Branch Code: 530861945 632005, you can pay the administrative fee in advance.
