Procedures for submitting an application to Walter Sisulu University in 2024

The following requirements must be met in order to be admitted to Walter Sisulu University:

You need to meet the following requirements in order to enroll in the NVC at NQF Level 2:

An NQF Level 1 certification, an approved bridging program designed specifically for accessing NQF Level 2, a year-end report for Grades 9, 10, 11, or 12, or an evaluation of prior learning can satisfy the requirements for admission to NQF Level 2. (RPL).

Courses Rated as Full-Time

You are required to pay both the application fee (only applicable to new students) and the course fees at registration.

The following must be included in each new application:

A statement, or N3 certificate, can be obtained by certifying a copy of the most recent grade 12 transcript.
The learner’s identity has been copied six times in a certified manner.
one ID-sized student photograph and two certified copies of a parent or guardian’s identification.
The application period, which begins each year in April, should be started as soon as possible.

WSU will begin accepting applications online in 2024.

Authenticated copies of your identification (certified copies of your ID and passport numbers are required for international applicants and are mandatory for South African citizens) and the results of your most recent Grade 12 exam (if available) are all required verifications of your registration fee payment. The results from your 11th-grade class are required for your application if you are currently enrolled in 12th grade.
