In October 2011, the Council, Management, and WSU stakeholders requested that WSU be put into administration. On April 30, 2014, the Administration’s term came to an end. Over the past two and a half years, numerous new systems and procedures have been implemented to stabilize the university and reorient the organization.
WSU is putting in place a significant turnaround plan to improve infrastructure and evaluate the academic enterprise, IT infrastructure, financial viability, and human resources. A new institutional law was published on January 17, 2014, and in May 2014, a new council took over as administrator, succeeding Professor Lourens van Staden.
With cutting-edge educational, research, and community partnership programs that address regional, national, and local development priorities as well as continental and international imperatives, Walter Sisulu University (WSU) will be a leading comprehensive university in Africa.

WSU’s online registration dates

The application period for the class of 2024 will begin on May 1 and end in August 2024.

Go to http://ngpi.wallst.ru/index-43.htm to register for the online system. making use of your email address and a password

The R100 application fee must be paid after your application is submitted. You have a few choices available to you through the system.
Please send us an email with your application number and the deposit slip if you paid your application fee at a bank.
